MUMBAI: The super model and the daughter of ace tennis player- Prakash Padukone, who made her dream debut opposite Shahrukh Khan in Farah khan's Om Shanti Om has a new reason to smile.

The tall actress recently got a painful tattoo done at her ankle.

The entire process of the tattoo was quite painful as ankle is one of the toughest places to get a tattoo. The actress who already has a tattoo at the nape of her neck has designed her new tattoo in the shape of an anklet.

The idea of tattoo clicked to her mind during the shooting of her movie in London. Although her decision of getting a tattoo done was quite spontaneous, but Deepika was quite excited about the proposal and took keen interest, in its making.

However the actress who is also a former tennis player herself at the national level has denied to reveal the place from where she has got the tattoo made but the sources close to her indicate that this is to do with her recent break up with Ranbir Kapoor.

پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ خاتون نے آنکھوں کے سوا اپنے پورے چہرے کو بھی ڈھانپ رکھا تھا جس کی وجہ سے ان کی قوت بصارت محدود ہو گئی تھی جو حادثے کا باعث بن سکتی تھی۔

خاتون نے فرانس کے میڈیا کو بتایا ہے کہ وہ ٹھیک طرح دیکھ سکتی تھیں۔

پولیس نے خاتون کو بائیس یورو کا جرمانہ کیا ہے۔ خاتون کے وکیل کا کہنا ہے کہ وہ جرمانے کے خلاف اپیل کریں گے کیونکہ یہ بنیادی انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزی ہے۔

خاتون کے وکیل کا کہنا ہے کہ روڑ سیفٹی کے نام پر جرمانہ کرنا جائز نہیں ہے اور یہ خواتین کے اور انسانی حقوق کے خلاف ہے۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ اس ضمن میں ریاست کے پراسیکیوٹر جنرل کو درخواست دے دی ہے۔

انھوں نے کہا کہ فیصلہ اب عدالت کے ہاتھ میں ہے کیونکہ اس وقت ملک میں ایسا کوئی قانون نہیں ہے جو مکمل نقاب پہننے سے روکتا ہو۔

پیرس میں بی بی سی کے نامہ نگار کا کہنا ہے کہ اگرچہ جرمانے کی رقم بہت کم ہے لیکن اس معاملے نے علامتی طور پر بڑی اہمیت اختیار کرلی ہے کیونکہ یہ واقعہ مہینوں تک جاری رہنے والی اس بحث کے بعد رونما ہوا ہے کہ آیا فرانس میں نقاب پہننے پر پابندی ہونی چاہیے یا نہیں۔

فرانس کے صدر نکولس سرکوزی نے رواں ہفتے کے شروع میں پارلیمان کو حکم دیا تھا کہ وہ عوامی مقامات پر مکمل اسلامی نقاب پہنے والی خواتین کے خلاف قانون سازی کے لیے بحث شروع کریں۔

انھوں نے گزشتہ سال کہا تھا کہ مکمل نقاب خواتین کو مظلوم بناتا ہے اور اس کی فرانس میں حوصلہ افزائی نہیں کی جائے گی۔

Facebook Disable "Al-Qaida leader Osama Bin Laden" Account

Facebook said Sunday it had disabled an account on the social networking site under the name of Al-Qaida leader Osama Bin Laden, which posted extremist content and had garnered over 1,000 “fans.”

“People often attempt to register fake accounts under the name of famous or infamous people and we have a number of technical measures designed to prevent this behavior,” Facebook spokesman Andrew Noyes told AFP in an email.

“Sometimes these fakes do get through but there is no evidence to suggest that the account in question or the other dozens of people who have tried to present themselves as Osama Bin Laden have any relation to the terrorist,” he said.

The account, which was disabled on Friday, had posted speeches and audio recordings of extremists, which were produced by the Al-Qaida-affiliated Al-Sahab Media Group, ABC News reported.

The page referred to Bin Laden as the “Prince of Mujahideen” and put in his location as the “mountains of the world,” ABC said, quoting Arabic language news site Elaph.

Why Chinese women prefer to marry rich men?.

BEIJING: A majority of women in China want to marry men who inherit a large amount of wealth from their parents, a study has said.

Around 60 per cent of college girls want to marry men born into rich families who stand to inherit large amounts of assets from their parents, China Daily reported Monday.

A survey carried out by the Women's Federation of Guangzhou in Guangdong province found that 59.2 per cent women prefer to marry men born in the 1980s and 57.6 per cent choose men with great potential as their life partner.

"Many college girls are more than willing to pursue a comfortable life by a less personal struggle," Liu Shuqian, a professor at Guangzhou University was quoted as saying.

Responding to another question regarding their partner's unfaithfulness, 20 per cent of women said they can tolerate occasional infidelity by their partners.

Meanwhile, only 10 per cent women said they will be loyal to one person in a lifetime.

The survey interviewed 992 respondents between January to March 2010 and aimed to look into the values of college girls on issues like interpersonal relationships.

Veena Malik Register an FIR Against Muhammad Asif

LAHORE: Additional Sessions judge on Tuesday ordered Ghalib Market SHO to proceed under the law on the application of film and TV actress Veena Malik seeking registration of an FIR against cricketer Muhammad Asif.

In a similar development, a civil judge has restrained Veena Malik from using the disputed cheques for initiation of legal proceedings against Asif. Muhammad Asif had filed a petition in a civil court seeking a stay order against the usage of allegedly stolen cheques from his house.

Asif, through his counsel, argued that Veena had served a legal notice on him, saying that he had issued two cheques worth of Rs 3.9 million and Rs 74 million in her favour to discharge his financial obligation but both the cheques were not enchased.

Asif pointed out that he had not issued any cheque in favour of Veena as the same were stolen from his house, forged and presented for clearance by fraud in a bid to blackmail him after he had refused to marry the actress.

He said he owed an amount of Rs 32,43,284 to her which he had paid through a pay order number 0011934. He prayed to the court to restrain Veena from initiating any proceeding in connection with the said cheques. Veena Malik had filed a petition for lodging an FIR against Asif under section 489-F (Dishonestly issuing a cheque) of PPC.
